Just bought a new Modern Player Tele Plus, and the fret wire height seems quite low. I measured the height
at about 40 - 41 Thou. The width is about 106 Thou. On the Fender web site it says it uses Jumbo frets.
I thought Fender Jumbo fret wire was over 50 Thou. The frets have not been leveled as far as I can tell.
I was hoping for taller frets, as they are easier to bend for me. Is my guitar fitted with the correct fretwire? :?

According to Fender, Jumbo measures are the same as Dunlop 6100; crown width .110" (2,794mm) and height .055" (1,39mm).
Your measures (.106 x .041) don't fit directly to any fretwire I know of; lutherie.net Fretwire Chart
"Vintage Jumbo", #6150 at .102" x .042" is close, though.

That leaves so much open, I won't even start the guesswork of why and how.

If you're unhappy with the frets, are you still entitled to cancel the deal?
