First time installing ferrules
I used Kluson Ferrules and they went in a bit too easy to me and so i put a dab of wood glue on each one to keep them tight.
They are not flush, the small rim sits outside the body ???

A better choice would have been a dab of super glue, as wood glue will not really bond to metal.
If they were prone to falling out before gluing, just be careful when you change strings.

That's normal for modern Teles.

Good luck on your build!!

What a terrific reclamation projest. Looks and sounds great. Lots of mojo.

I don't have any experiance with the Earl Slick pickups but I have used GFS pickups and been pleased with the sound. I installed Retrotron Memphis Jangle Pickups in my PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow and was very happy with the result. Good pickups at a great price.

congrats on the build, looks great.

no thoughts about a new paint job on it? I like the worn look, but new paint of your design could be cool as well.

As far as paint....
That's up to the new owner
The Tele has a new address
Obviously I don't promote sales here (against policy)
But I built her to sell

I'm a one guitar guy and I have Strat blood running in my veins

Thanks T2 !
It was a very cool Tele
