Hi all.I want to alter the pup configuration on the 4 way selector switch on my BAJA Tele. It seems more logical to me to have the neck and bridge pups on the extremes of the switch. I want to swap position 3 and 4 to bring the neck pup on at position 4. Has anyone done this and can show wiring method/circuit? Also I want to lose the drop off in tone (treble bleed) on the vol pot. Any suggestions as to which cap to use? Lee

The 4way switch positioning (pos 3 for neck) is typical for Fender, and usually it's not too hard to mod.
But, according to tdpri on Baja Alt Wiring, just flipping wires on the 4way won't work with the S1 switch. Weird, but tdpri is usually reliable.

You could of course replace the S1 with a normal vol pot and build a "regular modified" 4way wiring, but IMHO that would remove the whole Baja character...

And Chris Fleming (among other things, designer of Baja) doesn't work at FCS anymore, so you can't email for instructions. Maybe the consumerrelations could help.

Oh, btw: I'm no wiring wizard, proceed with caution.
