I have a Fender Tele Deluxe Nashville Power that I dearly love. It's my last guitar (probably). It has a Fishman bridge that brings a really nice acoustic sound that I really like.

However, I miss my whammy bar. Is there a vibrato that can be installed with a Fishman bridge? Or am I just trying to have it all?

And should I just buy a basic Strat (or similar), perhaps with a humbucker somewhere, with a whammy bar?

Would my wife allow such a thing given that I have already declared my forever love for this Tele? Does that send the wrong signal? (So to speak...)

For once, I agree with MJ. Well, not on the d.i.v.o.r.c.e part... But I agree that the simple solution is to get another guitar, equipped with a trem.

It's possible, of course, to install a vibe in your guitar.
But the price of a quality trem (meaning: a trem worth installing) plus the costs for the labor easily exceed the price of a Strat - especially if you're open to buying a second hand MIJ/MIM or a better series Squier.
Plus, in the worst case scenario, you might not like the Tele after the mod.

Thanks for your answers. I think that I am trying to get this guitar to be all things.

I am looking for a Squier prob. with a whammy bar and some humbuckers for the rock of it all.
