I have a 2014 Mexican telecaster (bought last summer) and one of the bridge saddle intonation screws has gone missing.

Having searched around the web I am unable to ascertain whether the screw I need is a metric M3 x 15mm or imperial 4-40 x 5/8ths?

Is anyone able to tell me which it is please and if Fender sell spares?

Thanks!

Sorry I tough you are looking for a ajusting tool,

You look for the screw itself.

IMO Fender may use so many size over the year on Mex made guitars you have to talk to somebody who have same guitar as you, same year AND who know the size.

Good luck.

I would recommend removing one of the other screws and then taking it to a nutz-n-boltz place in an industrial park. Most cities will have some kind of threaded fastener supplier; usually in an industrial park. Take one with you and ask for a couple "as-per-sample". They will be extremely cheap. So cheap that if you only ask for one or two, they will likely just let you walk out with it (or them) for free. Hardware like that is typically sold in bulk by weight and one or two wouldn't even register on their scales.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Thanks for your replies guys!

I'm in the UK and have nuts & bolts suppliers close by.

Just wondered if anyone knew the size required before I get to visit them...

I have pinched a screw from another guitar for now to get the Tele back in action.. :D
