I have a new set of genuine Fender Telecaster vintage brass saddles to replace a set of incorrect threaded rod saddles. On one brass saddle, the height adjustment screws are the same length but shorter than the other two brass saddles, which have adjustment height screws that are longer but exactly the same length. I'm thinking the saddle with the two shorter height adjustment screws would be for the high E and B strings?
I would be appreciative of any information.
Thanks, Chinaski.

Neck radius mean strings high E and low E are closer to the body .

Shorter saddle screws ( for action ) must be at these both side .

Right. Unless you do a lot of pull-bending, 2 notes or more, Al King style - then you may want a long screw on the bass side.

Great job of turning the obvious correct answer to a simple question, into an obtuse, SNAFU dance, on something smaller than the head of a pin: ......Your brain. But what else could possibly be expected......

My bad, dude.
Sorry if I needlessly took our little debate to a different thread.
Regardless of how ridiculous I may have thought your above comment was on this thread, I should have been a bit more restrained.
You have my apology.

Thanks for the thread and the info! Going to be switching out my perfectly good MIM standard bridge for a 3 saddle vintage look. Having a tech do the switch.
