Ahhh, what an adventure so far.

There is indeed an issue with the first run of the bridges of these guitar that Fender is addressing as we speak.

The first bent saddles were either placed incorrectly on the bridge due to their construction and/or the bridge itself is in the wrong position.

If it was a matter of the bridge saddles alon being off, Fender will send the saddles to an authorized repair shop, which may or may not be where you bought the guitar, so they can change the bridges out for you. You may need to bring your guitar to the shop in advance for them to do some measurements first, though.

Some of us were unlucky enough to get a guitar where the bridge saddles couldn't be replaced, and the choice was either to just live with it, or Fender would replace the guitar outright.

I chose to send the guitar back, and am still waiting for my replacement. This whole ordeal happened towards the end of September, and I was explained that Fender had to actually produce the new guitars with the new bridges/saddles, get through their QC process and then my shop would be shipped my new guitar. Right now the ETA is sometime at the beginning of November.

What's frustrating is that I've heard through some online resources that Fender is shipping the guitars to stores for their shelves before sending people like me their replacement. I can't confirm this for sure, yet. That just might be some disgruntled people talking.

The shop I deal with has been AMAZING through out this, and Fender has been quite good when I've dealt with them. They sent me a cool Telecaster T-Shirt for my troubles, so far.

I wrote a blog about this experience which I'll link. If that's not allowed here, please let me know, and I'll remove the link.

I'm very sorry for you. :( Goof luck

To resume;
From your blog ;

"Apparently, there is an issue with the bridge saddles that required pulling them way back so you can thread the strings through the string holes when changing the strings. This was not intentionally designed that way, and it also apparently threw the guitar’s intonation off every time strings were changed. Hmmmm…not good. "
