Hi Everyone,

I recently go this guitar. It is a Standard HSH and is pretty cool.

http://www.fender.com/guitars/stratocas ... ml#start=1

I plan on upgrading the middle pickup. Is the middle pickup RWRP on an HSH or just regular polarity?

ALso, does anyone know when in split coil mode if the outer or inner coils of the humbuckers are used and what the polarity of the split coil side is?

THanks in advance for your help.

As a bonus, any recommendations for upgrading the middle pickups or hbers?

There is no need reverse polarity on middle pickups for HSH

On you link , Fender write ; Standard Stratocaster middle pickup

The mid pickup is the same as in Standard SSS models, so it's RWRP.
The outer coils work when the humbuckers are split (neck side coil on neck pup, bridge side on bridge pup).

Did you notice there's a wiring diagram on the product page (your link) under the SUPPORT tab..?

RWRP is relative the polarity of the other pickups. In the case of an HSH guitar, this would mean that the middle single-coil is RWRP relative to that of the split coil of either humbucker. Of course if the humbucker isn't split, you lose the noise cancellation.
