The matched set of Fender Vintage Noiseless PUs in the custom Strat I just got are outstanding! They sound teriffic! They are truly noiseless. Just as quite as the Humbuckers in my Les Pauls.

These Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups are what Fender uses in the Eric Clapton Signature Strat.

Have them in a Tele. They sound great! Was through a different amp so not a good comparison but think I like them better than the N3's.

Through the Fender Mustang v2 III and IV Amps, the Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups deliver amazing Classic Tone! The 17 modeled Amp variations provide plenty of crisp, clean, fat, chime, crunch, gain, drive, pure power (and FX, if desired). With these Amps, I have no need for Hot pickups. And, the pickups came with matching Pots. Even if you're into Metal or a heavily overdriven sound, these Amps can deliver it from a normal instrument voltage level output.

If you can live without the RWRP quack tones in positions 2 & 4 you might want to look into a dummy coil. They work remarkably well at silencing real single coils. Alas, no quack.

I'm posting from my phone at the moment so I don't have access to my link library but IIRC I believe Lindy Fralin makes one built into a rear trem cover plate.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
