Uhhmm....the quality is the same as any Fender guitar! They don't have a separate line just to build low quality parts to throw out there!

+1

I seen both necks and bodies and while I haven't had occasion to use either, they were all milled and finished typical with the parts that Fender uses on their MIA line of instruments.

I bought both a US Strat Ash body (Sienna Sunburst) and a US Deluxe Rosewood board neck. The fret ends on the neck were not finished, and the neck warped after about 2 months.

Fender Warranty covered it all. Took a few months for the neck to be replaced, but, it was replaced with a perfect neck, and perfectly finished frets. In the end quite happy.

The necks and bodies are made on the same production lines, in the same production runs as complete guitars.

The necks have unfinished nuts, so you will need proper nut slot files, or a luthier to finish it for you.

Do the necks have the Fender Waterslides on them?

If you're asking if they have a genuine Fender headstock decal then the answer is yes. IIRC they will also be marked "Genuine Fender Replacement" on the reverse side.

Nothing marked on them like that. The necks just have a Fender logo branded on the underside of the heel, and the body has a Fender logo branded on the back that gets covered by the neck plate. The back of the Headstock has the serial # and Made In USA. The front has what you would see on a Standard Strat/Tele or a Deluxe Strat/Tele.

Other than that, they look like standard production pieces.

FMIC may not be doing this now but they did in the past.

I can tell you mine definitely do not have that. Then again, mine are not replacement parts. I could see where a warranty production guitar may get something like that.

Apparently the replacement necks are now marked on the heel......

http://www.fender.com/parts/necks/vinta ... ml#start=1

The descriptive will be concealed once the neck is affixed to a body.
