+1 !!

IIRC, this is an MIK model.

I have the equivalent MII (Indonesia) FSR Custom Telecaster HH w/ active EMG pickups and it's one of my favorite guitars:

Fender has often in the past authorized the off-shore factories and licensees to produce limited numbers of unique designs, which I think gives these guys an opportunity to really strut their stuff as it were.

The quality of this guitar rivals that of my American Vintage and American Deluxe Strats. It play beautifully, stays in tune, has great tone and terrific sustain. The EMGs (EMG 85/neck, EMG 80/bridge) are either Love Them or Hate Them pups, but I've come to join the 1st group, the Tone is great !

Of all my guitars, this Tele is the most preferred by many of my more experienced friends. It's much LP-like than anything else Fender produces.

Plus, I had the added advantage of getting mine at Dealer Cost (<$300) through a family connection !

It wasn't on the wish list either:

So, items 1-5 all as required
(The price level is a bit different from that Tele, but it wasn't under discussion.)
