Flip a coin to decide.
Try playing rock, paper, scissors left hand against right.

I have never decided to buy a guitar because of the colour it is.
Whenever I have bought a guitar it is because there is something about that particular instrument that feels and sounds right to me.
The feel and sound comes first, the colour is of little consequence. The guitar I buy is whatever colour it is.

If it's about just looks I happen to like Surf Green.
I also happen to like Fiesta Red

If the colour is important consider why. Do a for and against on both.

Where will the guitar be used - stood - displayed. Would one colour look more at home than another?

If gigging what do you play and where. Will one colour blend in more appropriately than another.

Will one colour clash with your favourite shirt?

It's a colour - only you can know which one will be better for you.

Shouldn't the exclamation marks be question marks?

Surf Green with a maple fretboard looks good.

Buy the one that looks so good you can't walk past it without picking it up!

Damn Fine Advice there omar59! Best I have heard in a while on color! But if the OP doesn't follow it and goes with a vote tally....Seafoam Green!

I think I'd go with Seafoam over Fiesta myself but one man's food is another man's poison.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Omar is right. I think color is just as important as tone, voice, sustain, or any of the endless topics discussed in Strat forums.
If a guitar doesn't appeal to you on all levels, then you are not likely to want to play it, in which case feel and all those other things are meaningless. Such a guitar won't even make good wall art.
I am partial to blue, but most of my guitars are some variation of red for some reason, so I vote seafoam!

If Seafoam Green was offered, I would go for that, but since it's Surf Green we're talking about, I would opt for Fiesta Red.

I really don't like Red. Its the whole Mark Knopfler wanting a red one because that's what Hank Marvellous had. Because red Strats were the first Strats most people ever saw and because red anything is way too "Look at me!" for me.

However, red is probably the colour that most people associate with Strats so may not be as bad as noted above.

But Surf Green!!?? What do you play, Beach Boy covers? At least red you can play pretty much anything, anywhere. You could even put a Baywatch sticker on red and still play Beach Boy covers and anything by The Hoff.

In summary, I would probably chose neither but if they were the only two choices I would probably opt for the more conservative red (that's not a phrase you see much).

Both of them together so we can make an educated decision here, from another forum:

I'm in the mood for Fiesta.

As BMW-KTM put it "one man's food is another man's poison" so I don't see how anyone's preference could be of help to you but since you asked, I would go with Surf green. To me at least, Fiesta red in real life as opposed to in pictures, looks more orange than red.

Cheers!

And to me, Surf Green is reminiscent of the industrial latex shade that graced the walls of every military latrine I've ever taken a leak in.
