Relic should look old and used. This looks sanded and new from the pictures. None of the hardward has been aged or replaced with aged parts. Don't get me wrong, this is still a killer deal and probably a great guitar. I have done over a dozen relic jobs on the Highway One stratocasters and you have to do more than just sand a few spots on the body. Let us know what you think of it once you get it. Some more close up pictures would be nice.

Not to pick on a good deal, but the sanding was dome where wear wouldn't normally occur. I agree about the hardware too. I would remove all the finish if it were mine and either refinish it or stain it.

Still a great deal.

it looks like a home relic the wear is too consistant but still a nice looking guitar and if you are happy with it I feel sure that natural wear from your playing will make it look more authentic over time. Can't beat the price

that is a good price for mim standard, but it is a really bad relic job, hardware looks brand new, same with neck, and headstock. only body has some paint removed. i would try to do it better myself
