I want to change the neck on my 2014 Amer Std strat to a 7.25” radius neck. I had a 70/71 strat that had the 7.25 and I find I like that feel better. I know the classic series 50’s is a v shape and the 60’s is a c neck with a 7.25” radius. Is this doable? If so, where can I get a replacement neck? What happened was that I was in a music store playing the classic series and remembered how much I like the feel of the smaller radius. I have considered just getting a used classic series, but my wife may be becoming concerned with my growing guitar population. ;) Any feedback would be appreciated.

Why don't you sell your guitar and buy one with good 7.25 neck ?

I 'll never buy a neck or guitars without trying it ( on a guitar )

Keep in mind that if you put an after market neck on a US Strat, you no longer have a US Strat for sale down the line, you have a parts guitar.

You can find necks from Classic Series 50s Strats on Ebay (look for vendor "Stratosphere"). They're genuine Fender parts, often brand new. That will keep your guitar "all Fender" albeit not original.
