I'm planning on doing a video demonstrating its various qualities, but time is not my friend right now.

She's Beautiful! (Rarely met a Strat I didn't like though, so I'm biased  ).

What is the name of that color? (Is that the Mystic Ice Blue)?

The whole "Personality Card" thing is intriguing (I just learned about them from Googling this model). Interesting and versatile guitar to be sure!

Yes, the color is Mystic Ice Blue Metallic. Up close, the color actually looks like blue foil painted on a guitar; very reflective. Ice Blue Metallic is not as reflective.

The cards are pretty useful and versatile. With the Blender card, I can use 2 different voicings for the neck and bridge pickups, and 2 different voicings for all 3 pickups at once. With neck and middle pickups, I can kind of get that Blind Faith era Clapton tone from the Hyde Park concert.

Using the Cutter card, I can remove some of the bass to get a more vintage sounding single coil tone. Using OD or distortion, and dialing back the bass, I can get a very Jimmy Page Les Zepplin tone (think "Living Loving Maid" or "Heartbreaker).

The pickups can be very, Telecaster middle pickup, P90ish or Gretsch sounding. I'm very excited about the other cards coming out (I'm hearing June).

I really like that color. Saw one just yesterday. It made me think twice about the color of my Strat. 8)

What's the color of your Strat? The only thing I wish is that the neck was rosewood. I already have two guitars with maple necks, and only one with rosewood. The only way to get rosewood would be to get the HSS version.

Are those the bridge saddles they are putting on American Deluxe Strats these days or, just of the Deluxe Plus?

Just the Deluxe Plus - it really sits in-between the American Standards and the other American Deluxes, so it has some aspects of both (regular neck heel, bent-saddle trem from the Am Std, locking tuners and compound radius from the other Am Dlxs) as well as its own thing (the personality cards and PCB wiring).

How do you like the personality card and PCB so far? I have a 2007 two tone tobacco USA made Stratocaster Deluxe with SCN pups and S1 Switching that some put down but, I happen to dig on. The S1 gives you some cool extra tones which work great with pedals and other factors. I like the pressed bridge saddles on yours.

Therefore the "new" Pluses lack off the S-1 switch as the push-push crown is not present in the master volume knob.

Kindly hope seeing the Elite (Clapton Mod) wiring scheme included in those new additions.... :P
