I have the Fender Strat Swirl HSS (mexican) ... I'm not comfortable with the handle of tremolo ... is too high ... and it is very sensitive to touch. Is there any other options other handle (sleeve) ?

Thank you all
Daniel

If the trem arm is part# 0992310100, it won't cost a lot (under 10$) if you ruin one while customizing it - but buy a spare before you start the job.

PS: I assume your guitar is set up properly...

I'd never make that assumption. Probably half of the Strat players I see have the trem locked down to the body (not that that's a bad thing, but generally not conducive to it's proper use and certainly not for a comfortable arm height).

Is it locked down, or set up per factory specs (about an eighth inch off the body at the rear)? Makes a huge difference in arm height.

You can place the trem arm in a vice and bend it down a little bit. There is one concern you must keep in mind. It you bend it too far, it will scratch against the body of the guitar, so be careful.
