Which kind of adjustment tool do I need to adjust individual saddle heights on a Modern Player series telecaster? Do I need a torx screwdriver or an allen/hex key?

All my Fender saddles and other brands, I've used an Allen hex key, some are slightly different sizes.
Usually got em covered in a set of small keys.

Nice Tele there, personally I'd be tossing out the ancient bent steel set for a real set of saddles made of chrome plated brass.
Like these from Stewmac http://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and_Parts/Bridges_and_Tailpieces/Electric_Guitar/Saddles_for_Modern_Tele_Bridge_Chrome_set_of_6.html
Just a better invention all around, adds a little to your sustain and tone.
Really disappointing how Fender continue to keep with these inferior bent steels, cos that's the way it was done 50 years ago, when clearly they've been beat.

Thanks! I actually just found the allen keys in the box. They were hiding :-/ It's a brand new guitar and I'm still a novice so I think it'll be a while before I do anything like change the saddles but thanks for the info :)

Not sure why you'd want to change the saddles but you might need those Allen wrenches to adjust the saddle height.
