Take a Telecaster switch, reverse connect a middle pickup directly to the lead pickup and you have a bridge humbucker that now gives you the best of both worlds.
You have then a clear-sounding rhythm neck p/u, a middle circuit, and a powerful, fat bridge p/u that won't disappoint.
Plus, you can keep the original appearance.

Kinda sorta of a "Robbie Robertson mod".

You keep the original 3-pickup configuration which with a telecaster switch lets you access three sounds, bridge humbucker, neck and bridge, and then neck.

You are talking about trading the Strat 5 way switch for a Tele 3 way? And have the selections be neck, neck/bridge, and middle/bridge?

Why would you want to? Already have mid/bridge combo in position 4. Would lose bridge alone option, would lose mid alone and neck/mid, and the only thing you would be gaining is the option of neck/bridge. The middle is reverse wound to hum-cancel with the neck or the bridge. Don't think neck and bridge together would hum-cancel.
Like a lot of people, I prefer bridge only for playing lead and neck only for playing rhythm. The only time I use the middle pickup is when I can't get rid of the hum any other way. Wouldn't want to be locked into a switch that won't let me play bridge only and that wouldn't let me switch to neck/mid if I needed it to hum-cancel.

There are easier ways to accomplish the neck-bridge position without losing other sounds.

However I believe the OP wishes the two pups, bridge & middle to be wired without the quack so they behave more like a humbucker. There are ways to run those two in series rather than parallel for a thicker and darker sound.

To get all of those options and more, you might want to investigate the possibility of using the Kinman K9 switch. I have that system on one of my Strats and it is amazingly versatile.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Clear rhythm is within reach, non-quacking sounds are largely eliminated and the full fat sound of a humbucker is within reach, especially when such a minor modification is pretty cheap compared to buying expensive Kinman gear.
Its better than the old reverse polarity middle pickup idea that is only a limited stop-gap measure.
Any fat-Strat enthusiast would appreciate the sound, any re-CBS purist would appreciate the unaltered appearance, any economy-minded player would appreciate the one-stop modifiaction.
Plenty to offer, ...
