Hi everybody, i'm owning an American Strat Std black lefty from 93, that was bought to me used, by a fella guitar player, it has some heavy and sexy modifications, but mainy in the electronics, it was setted (having in mind this guitar was bought in the early 90's and , the pick ups i mention next to, where pretty popular at the time) with what i guess it is a Dimarzio PAF PRO bridge humbucker, and i suspect as well, Dimarzio Fast Tracks single coils (leaveng a HSS configuration); the sound is pretty good, buy not for me, maybe for the Iron Maiden fan, but not for me or my styles.
So, i'm aiming to buy ,a Sensor Lace Hemi Humbucker, have you cheked out? just... out of this world of versatility.
But im scratching my head, what single coil pick ups i should set wih it?, having in the table my 3 main inspiration guitarrist are Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour and Stivie Ray Vaughan, im thinking about, leaving the Fast Tracks or buy CS Texas Special for the middle and neck slots.
Any recomendation.
Really preciated.
Astrubal.

Music is magic... and yes we are magicians.

If you plan purchasing a Lace Hemi with chrome covers for the bridge you might consider putting a matching pair of Chrome Domes for a proper look.

Here's the description:

Quote:
Serious Vintage humbucker and single coil tones combined.

The Lace Hemi™ is a tastefully balanced humbucker pickup set for rock and blues, yet still versatile enough for jazz and even country. It’s tone and headroom harken back to the double coil days of yore when players sought dynamics and definition over output and gain. Make no mistake though, the Hemi’s bridge pup can rock out-animal style with it’s brilliant pairing of double fat mid-tone and a higher peak freq that enables greater clarity at louder volumes. The neck pup offers up creamy smooth tonal character that inspires romping and comping that good ole’ funk, blues, fusion and modern shred. Have your duck fat fries and eat them too with the Lace Hemi™.
