Just saw this on my new used guitar. Is that a crack or normal grain? Is it something I need to worry about? Does it affect resale value?

Small thing , like missing some wood from natural ,

Resale value ;
Did you pay less than another with no "crack " ?

IMO , there so many guitars in perfect shape on the maket I would ask the seller to reduce price on this one.

An imperfection in the wood. But doesn't appear to be structural in any way.

Too bad it's there, but no, not any big deal. You might be able to fill it with a furniture crayon. I have a fretboard with a small imperfection that I filled with brown shoe polish years ago and have now forgot where it even was.

Natural imperfection in the wood.

If it doesn't bother you to play, I'd just leave it alone.

cheers!

Does not look anything like a crack. A crack wouldn't snake its way up and down the grain like that. Unless your finger gets stuck playing it, I'd say there's nothing to worry about.

Glad to hear it Tweek, thank you. I'm not bothered by it while playing. Can't even feel it.
