:) Yes I've just finished it today,
Sealed, did five coats of brush on lacquer then wet sanded with 1500 2000 2500 then polish.
Would wet sand after the second coat then do another two or three coats when I have another go.
Its not perfect but I'm pretty pleased for a first go.

This one might show it better,It is a satin finish but it did go quite glossy after polishing,
Interested to know if anyone's finished a one piece maple with brush on. Took about two sessions over two days to wet sand between each fret but I did enjoy it.
