Full rosewood neck looks really cool!
The rosewood headstock stands out from the norm.
This is the first I have heard of this.
Have they ever done this before?
I like it! :)

They did all-rosewood neck Stratocasters and Telecasters in the past.
Unlike the 2015 FSR US Standards these guitars featured a full body/neck construction and black plastic parts.

The Telecaster was made famous by the late George Harrison, who used it to record the main theme from the Beatles' Let It Be movie, released in 1970.

It plays fantastic. Neck is really smooth. I will get 11-52s when I get home tonight, a setup, and I have a new HSS loaded pickguard to throw on it. So sound report will come after that.

Acoustically it sounds like any other strat would. Don't really hear anything special from it.

But, the feel and action on the neck is fantastic. The neck is raw unfinished rosewood, so it will get a thorough oiling when I get home.

Nice one, Beautiful and Unique.

What Pups are in it? Looking forward to your sound report.

I'm "Jonesing" for a Redwood Neck now. :D

I'm not expecting much difference in the tone compared to Maple Necks.

One piece? Profile, radius? Fit, finish and feel are important aspects. For the entire guitar really. :P

It has Custom Shop Fat 50s in it. The neck and middle will stay. The bridge is getting replaced with a Duncan JB. A new Pearloid Fender HSS pick guard. I will also change the knobs and plastics to black.

Yes, the neck is one piece. Fretboard included. It's just like the Maple Necked fenders. Radius is 9.5 fit and finish are flawless. There was not one blemish or error on the guitar. I was the 1st person to handle it outside of Fender (I unpacked it at the store).

Looks like they engrave the Serial Number on the neck plate for these, correct?

Hiya danagos!
I just checked the part number on these and it does look exclusive to Guitar Center, in which case I don't believe we would include it on our site.

all the best,

Well, I checked the website for GC Spokane (my local store). They've got one rosewood neck tele. Beautiful guitar...if you have a spare $5600! Still. these guitars are serious "lookers".
