I picked this up for a very good price in a friend's local music store on Wednesday. She's a 2002 Highway One Strat in mocha brown. The body is really well worn and looks fantastic. I don't know what it is but I love a well worn Strat. All of my other Guitars are pristine but my two Strats look like beaters. This one plays and sounds beautiful.

And here it is next to it's 21 year old sister.

NICE, I like a guitar that looks like it's been played. How do you like those pups?

That nitro finish is fairly delicate, you should have it relic-ed in no time. :D

My Glossy Relic build has a Hwy one body so I could "ruin" it on purpose!

Looks great. :)

I really like the pickups, much better than I expected. I do have a set of Custom Shop Fat 50s on my other Strat which are the best sounding Strat pickups I've heard in my opinion. Not sure if I'll change the stock pickups on the Highway One or not.

I'm also thinking of changing the white pickguard to tortoise shell.

TF...Congrats. Nice guitar. I have to admit I am jealous as I really like the HWY 1 first style with the small headstock. The necks on those are just so smooth and the pickups have a nice cluck to em! I am always on the lookout for one of those locally, but seems everyone knows how good they are and aren't parting with them!

Enjoy.
