Hey everyone, is there a way to do a wiring mod on a Blacktop HSH Strat... so the Middle and Bridge pups are on the same tone control?

Would it be similar to the SSS config with a jumper wire or is this one more complex due to the Humbucker wiring?

I've been looking around but, can't find any info :?
Here's a link to the "PDF" for this guitar that has the wiring schematic:

What is your 5 way switch ? Import model or American made ( guitar ) ?

This may help you to start and do the wiring mod ;

Sorry for now I don't have time to tell you where to put new wire .

Thanks for the links t the info :)
It's a MIM Strat... pretty sure it's using a "Fender" 5 way selector... I haven't been under the hood yet with this guitar but, pretty sure that's what I'll find in there.
According the the schematic for the wiring... looks like I have that 1 free lug on the 5 way switch... that makes it possible to "Jumper" a wire to get the tone control that's currently wired for the Middle pup... to also work for the Bridge pup.

Basically, the same mod for an SSS equipted Strat should (hopefully) work with this guitar too... At least... that's what I think will be the case but, not 100% sure on this... that's why I've posted out here... always good to have a second opinion before performing a wiring mod... which we know... might not be as easy as it looks at first glance :shock:

Success :D
My Blacktop Strat now has tone on both the Middle and Bridge pups 8)
I like when you have a simple mod... that gives a SERIOUS bang for the buck!
