Hi, can someone tell me about the 1954 Relic Stratocaster? The guitar is from 2001 and I am thinking in buy it. It is a custom shop an it is in perfect conditions.

Sorry what it is a COA? The guitar was builded the 12/11/2001. And it is 1954 Relic stratocaster .

Well if it is the one off surf green with the 10/56 neck it looks pretty legit.
A tad expensive but thats Europe for you.
I personally do not go relics that much but a nice guitar! :D

Really... that's very interesting.

Do all the relics of a certain model have the exact same marks, blemishes, nicks, what have you, in the exact same places?

I always thought each was a unique individual instrument.

That makes the Relic look all the more ridiculous to me... that they all look alike. And... you pay a premium for it too..??

I can just see all the Fender Execs rolling on the floor dying of laughter in the meeting when the Relic Sales figures are presented. They must think P.T. Barnum was a God !!

That's what the Road Worn instruments are. Cookie-cutter relics, finished and detailed using templates and stencils.

IOW, premium-priced lunacy.

Yes. It is the one at the shop guiraffe. What I nees is your opinion for these guitar, because i do not see them in other shops/ forums..... The guitar is in very good conditions and I have all the papers. Also de case it is ok.
I do not see relics from 1954 in surf green so often.
