Stratocaster knobs are a push fit; the pot shafts are slotted.
Get about 12" string thin string and loop it under the knob from each side (to create a cradle effect) and simply pull the knob straight up.
NEVER get tempted to lever the knob up with a screwdriver. Damage will result.
To refit, just push the knobs back on the shaft - positioned so that the 10 is level with the bridge pickup screw. Allow about 1mm gap between the knob skirt and the pickguard so that it doesn't bind when turning. If the knobs seem to loose on their pots, very carefully insert a screwdriver into the shaft slot and open it up a very small amount. This means virtually no apparent movement in the 'driver, you only need a thou or two, which you won't see! The danger here is snapping the pot shaft. If you are not sure about this, your dealer will help.
