I recently entered the strat world.

Bought a fantastic satin series, easy to get very nice stratty sound .

However, I am used to LP's and 12 inch radius fretboards, learned about the deluxe, and not even a week later, turned in the new satin, for the deluxe.... Love everything about this guitar.... But not as "stratty as my Satin.... So, just learned about this FSR AMERICAN STANDARD, soft V neck, Fat 50s, compound radius just like my deluxe.... Don't want to turn my deluxe in because I love it, but the noiseless pups ( although fantastic in their own right, ) don't come off as stratty as I would like........ So, I am debating to buy the FSR, And keep the deluxe, or turn the deluxe in ( assuming I like the FSR ).... Or pop in fat 50s in my deluxe... Hard to justify having both strats....Ahhhh,,,,, what a dilemma ...

No question, this is what I would do. I have an Am Dlx (HSS) with the noiseless, and an Am Std (SSS) with the Fat 50s........yeah, you really need both. 8)

If you truly "love" your Deluxe, you would surely be sorry if you got rid of it. I think that you will love the Fat 50s too. Having two Strats with two different tones is a true win-win.
