Hello friends, I feel like Standard Strat MiM second hand, but do tremolos US type vintage fit it?
Is the hole in the block body made for?
I know this is the case for the Classic Series but ignores for the Standart.
Same question for the keys, they are identical to the AM level mounting holes?
thank you, and beautiful day or night to you .

Isdi

It depends on if it was modified at all before you bought it and what year.

A Fender factory MIA Vintage bridge has 2-7/32" string/mounting spacing and will not fit a Fender factory MIM Standard Strat, which has a bridge with 2-1/16" string/mounting spacing, unless you fill the mounting holes with dowels and re-drill the holes for the wider spaced bridge. The MIA bridge will fit in the MIM body, it's just the mounting holes that are different.

The MIA Standard Strat tuning keys will fit on the MIM Standard Strat, direct replacements.

I personally think the bridges which are on the MIM Standard Strats are better than the MIA's. I love the 6 point vintage style compared to the 2 point which is on the made in America models. They're easier to maintain and IMO, add more sustain.

Yeah, but we are discussing the vintage style MIA and MIM, both six-screw. That comparison is no contest, better materials on the MIA, especially the saddles.
