You don't have to have a scalloped neck to bend; David Gilmour seems to manage OK.

Scalloped fretboards isn't just about bends. Perhaps the greatest advantage is that you can do up/down vibrato, including easy vibrato of an entire chord. And slow bends with vibrato while bending, something that's near impossible with a standard fretboard.
And it teaches you not to press so hard, which improves speed.

I spoke about the hardness of strings because jmattis said:

BTW, (and: this may be just psychological, I've no scientific facts to prove it) some string sets seem to "eat" frets more than others.

He is most likely correct about that, BTW. I don't know that I have ever seen empirical proof of it but it speaking objectively from my own experience, I believe it is an observable phenomenon.

It does in fact relate directly to refretting because the reason for needing a refret in the first place is because of wear caused by contact with the strings.
I would have thought you would welcome any and all information on how to delay the need for a refret, particularly since you seem quite concerned at the prospect of it.
If your neck does get to the point where it needs refretting, you may only get one chance at it.
It might serve you well to have an understanding of the hardness of metals and how they wear so that you can make a better choice regarding fret-wire.
If your tech manages to pull the frets without damaging the wood you will likely want to consider replacing them with a harder material fret-wire such as Jascar, rather than stock fret-wire, so that you won't be confronted by this issue again.

Okay the strings i'm using are Elixir 9 to 42 because it's cheaper for me to buy them and not all the non coated strings that i have to change them every two weeks to sustain their characteristics i simply don't have that much money. Does someone had his scalloped neck refretted or some your friend that uses scalloped fretboard? I want to know first hand it's possible that's all! You say all kinds of different things, which i have nothing against, but i don't have answer to my exact concern! Also that's my only guitar at the moment and i like to play like really alot! You saw the depth of the scallop saw the frets the photos are from two years ago can i get new frets or my neck is for the trash after they wear out 'cause i swear i can wear them out pretty quickly if i start playing in the style of Blackmore and Malmsteen with lots of bending and heavy vibrato!

All wood is different. The frets might come out fine. Some might and some might need some remedial work. Who can tell? Even the guy doing the job wont know for certain until it is done.

Only you know how fast you wear out frets. How long did your last set of frets/neck last?

Seemingly the luthier who did the scalloping doesn't want to refret the neck so find another one who would be willing to have a look.

I appreciate that necks aren't cheap cheap but a replacement MiM neck isn't massive money.

Not to sound like a Richard Cranium but you did post this on Dec.1 and it seems no one that read this post has done this, and your luthier who did the Scalloping say's not to. In my opinion, and I know your not looking for opinions, I say go for it and let us know what happens, and than we will have an answer, or wait and hopefully someone who has done this and will visit. I know this is a Strat we are talking about, post it on the telecaster site maybe someone over there has re fretted a scalloped neck

Tell you what, Shredder.
Take some new pics of your frets and give us a set of before & after pics.
I "get" that you're frustrated because you're not getting the exact answer you want but we are doing the best we can for you with what you're giving us.
I can't speak for the other guys but for me, until I see the level of fret wear you're getting after two years I can't help but thinking you're anticipating crossing a bridge you may never get to.

Now .... if the real nature of your question is simply to settle some debate you're having with a buddy then you may never get satisfaction.
That does happen. I've seen it happen.
Some guy poses a hypothetical question based on a discussion he had recently but makes it out like it's a pressing matter.
I'm not saying that's what you're doing but your situation does look similar.

Do us all a favour and provide us with some before/after pics and then maybe we can help you determine if you even need to worry about this whole thing.
Thanks.
