Hi group! I recently picked up a Lite Ash Strat from a local music shop for a relative STEAL, and was wondering if any of you guys are a big of a fan of this guitar as I am now. I really can't find a single flaw, plays like butter and sounds beautiful. For the price I paid, I almost feel guilty! The natural finish and the Seymour Duncan's are just icing on the cake. I'd love to find the Tele version now, especially at the price I paid! Thanks much.

A late Congrats!!

I had one, and to this day still consider it an amazing tone machine. Those Duncan's were very impressive, and the v neck was cozy to play with. I'd pick one of those any day over an American in regards to tone (my elelectronics were a little scratchy)

Personally I had one of each...a Tele and a Strat. Both are now gone and I never looked back. I had gotten the Tele for a steel (the folks at Guitar Center thought it was a fake), but I honestly didn't care for it (not too crazy about Tele's to begin with), so I traded it for the same model/year Strat instead...which I then traded for my '99 MIM Fat Standard. Both of the Lite Ashes were fine instruments, well made and both played decent enough, however I really didn't care for the sound or the feel of either. Both had necks far chunkier than I prefer and the sound on both was just WAY too bright for my taste. Nothing wrong with it, just NOT my thing at all.

That said, if you like it then congrats and enjoy your new axe!
