Hi there hard to tell in that photo.
Make sure the switch lug on the pickup side is not shorting to any metal but if that was the case you would probably get no sound. Also check the output jack which is not pictured.
Does the issue occur in all pickup positions?
Do the tap test for each pickup position i.e. Tap the pole of the pickup lightly with a screw driver and you should get a thud when plugged into the amp.
Is it feedback or buzzing they are two different things..
Does it happen with the amp volume at a low level? :D

Hi have you tried other similar single coil guitars to make a comparison.
None of those pickups are noiseless or hum cancelling.
If it is hum then proper earthing and shielding may reduce it but you will never completely eliminate it.
Does it change when you change positions e.g facing one direction then another, this is typical stray interference getting into the pickups. :D

Hey There,

Sounds like your Bridge Pup is wired incorrectly.

I went to the S.D. website and took this from their wiring instructions:

If two pickups sound thin and wimpy when used together, chances are, they’re out
of phase with each other. If you’re combining your Seymour Duncan pickup(s) with
Fender®pickup(s) in the same guitar, you’ll need to reverse the black and white wires
on the Seymour Duncan. In other words, solder the white wire to ground and the black
wire to the selector switch

Try it and see,

- Dan

The Duncan could very well require reverse wiring but this would account for issues only in position 2.
Did the tech measure the 69 and what was the reading? :D
