Having trouble tracking down the correct Floyd Rose to put on my 91 Strat Ultra. Will the 1/2 inch difference on radius be a showstopper?

Strat Ultra Spec

Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)
Fingerboard: Ebony
Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm)
Number of Frets: 21

Installing an original Floyd might require some major alterations to the body. Not recommended.

But if you want absolutely a locking tremolo I suggest putting a mini Floyd bridge assembly (locking tuners and roller nut are not necessary to buy as they're already present in your guitar).

Bearing in mind the Strat Ultra uses a 22-fret neck, not 21.

The American deluxe bridge should fit right in there as a replacement..

However considering the value of the guitar AFTER the mod, it would be a more feasible to buy a MiM Floyded Strat, like the plus top for example. Rather than devalue a Strat ultra
