True, just trying to figure this out. I don't remember ever having to set saddles in that kind of positioning, so I confess I'm baffled. I'm not trying to cast doubt on anyone's skills.

On that warranty: would be worth checking with the seller - that HSS mod may affect things here.

Neck is set correctly.
Unfortunately, the saddles have to be there for intonation.
I agree that they look too far forward. But.. For intonation, they have to be there.

I've also tried raising and lowering to move things.. It doesn't change the string bend angle
when resetting intonation.

Thus the reason for sharing the info to see if others were having this issue as well.
If it is a defect, it may only be on Lefties. ??
