Welcome everyone!

I'm new here and it's great to be part of this forum. I'd like to ask you for support. A few years ago I bought this used pickguard on an auction for some 25 euros from a guy who assured me that it was an original Fender pickguard with original pick-ups and wiring. I kind of forgot about it but would like to give it a try now in my Strat. My questions are:

1. Can you tell (and if so - how one does that?) if this is indeed an original Strat pickguard [including pick-ups, wiring, switch, etc.]?

2. There are so many wiring diagrams out there, but I seem to have failed to find one that would fit this particular model. Can you have an educated/experienced guess and guide me where I should be looking for such a diagram?

Here are the pictures. If you need more details - just tell me. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Yep, Squier is also my guess - ceramic twin bar magnets, 500K pots - and isn't that a 1ply pickguard..?

Edit: Forget that pickguard part, see below.

Thanks a lot for the expertise ;)! So it seems like it was a rip-off...Any chance of finding a wiring digram for this pickguard so that I could listen how the pickups sound? I assume I shouldn't be expecting a huge sound out of that, should I?

Wouldn't call it a rip-off on that 25€ - a 3ply pickguard alone is easily more, not to mention the lesson learnt

Try this for wiring: Affinity Wiring Diagram - should work with those electronics.
It won't sound like a Custom Shop EC Signature, but it should sound like a Stratocaster.

Thank you jmattis for the wiring diagram:). I'll give it a go and see how the pickups sound. If I don't like it, I'll continue using the ones installed at the moment.
Cheers!
