I just purchased my first Stratocaster. It is a Fender Classic Series 50s Stratocaster. I've owned a Telecaster for the last 5 years and have been able to work on it myself quite easily. When I purchased my Stratocaster I noticed there is a very slight relief bow in the neck. I went to a local guitar tech who assured me that this is the norm on Stratocasters.

I'm just wondering if this is the norm for strats or if it needs a proper set up?

Thanks

Hi , and welcome to the forum. Remember , your strat has got 7.25'' neck radius- then check this:

Good luck !
