I want to raise my #6 E string a tiny bit. What size allen-key / hexagonal wrench should I use on the bridge? Also - is that the correct tool to use?

The string buzzes slightly on adjacent frets after about fret # 14 or so - only on this string, and it is a tad lower than the rest.

That .050" in the above link is right for imperial sized saddle screws.
For metrics, use 1.5 mm hex key.
Anyway, the keys for saddle screws and for truss rod should have come with the guitar.

I bought my guitar about 1983. Now where did I put those extra bits that came with it ...

Congrats, this is by far the hardest question on the forum ever. But let's give it a go:
The hex keys are either in the garage, in the same cardboard box you keep your technicolor gym pants and shoulderpadded T-shirts, or they're in the bottom drawer of the bedroom cabinet, hiding behind your eighties hairstyle.

You have the perfect excuse to go out and purchase a couple of sets of Bondhus allen wrenches, one set metric, and one set imperial.
Go on - you can never have too many quality tools, and these ones are made in the USA and come with a lifetime guarantee.

I keep a set of both close at hand in the house - you never know when one of your guitar harem might need a tweak to bring it back in line :D

Don't forget to loosen (detune) the string quite a way before you start raising the height of the each string saddle.

Wait! Before you go buying any needless new tools rule out ALL possibilities.
Check the freezer behind the ice trays... in back of the toilet... the crumb tray under the toaster oven... the container you keep the bread flour in!!!!

Well, I had a good look. But having gone to college three times, moved house repeatedly, and changed countries 4 times, plus the divorce that left me with just a suitcase (the guitar was at a friend's), I did find my old Harley wrenches (at another friend's), but they only go down to 2.5mm in metric and about the same in imperial (the numbers have worn off due to time - many of my tools are older than my guitar). I shall go shopping sometime soon - in Tongdaemun Market, South Korea.

And thanks - I shall remember to loosen the string first. I also checked out a few How-to vids on YouTube. All good.

PS Friends are good. You can trust me on that.

But don't forget, the MiMs are a good value too
