Hey guys, I'd like to know if this is a real problem and should I take my guitar to a guitar master to fix it? The guitar is American Standard Stratocaster '12

When I hit the string hard, it buzzes, but when I hit it normally it doesn't (see video).
It doesn't interfere my playing and I can't hear it though the amp (although it can affect sustain), I'm OK to live with that, just would like to know if that's a serious problem or it always happens when you hit the string hard?

The strings are fresh, 0.09-0.42, did restring them yesterday, put same model strings.

Thanks in advance.

There's always the threat of fret buzz if you pick heavily.
You might find the string that causes the worst problem is set just a touch too low at the bridge.

I suggest that you get to grips with setting the guitar up for yourself - there are myriad reasons for adjusting the instrument - I reset my truss rod just the other day because I had a very small amount of back bow and notes were just starting to fret out.

Learning how to do it for yourself will save a fortune in repair bills, and there are plenty of Youtube videos out there showing you how to do it.

Most strings will buzz if you hit them too hard. A higher action provides more clearance and you have to hit them harder to get them to buzz.

No it shouldn't buzz like that imo. Is it just the g string? It probably not a serious problem the string height might be low for that string , check its not catching anywhere else.If the guitar is quite old it could be wearing somewhere- bridge /nut.
There are lots of people on here with more expertise than me but anyway that's what I think. Probably just needs a good set up.

Setting the action won't help unless the truss rod is adjusted right. If you keep jacking the action higher to cure fret buzz when the neck relief isn't set then you end up with a guitar that's almost unplayable. Get yourself an allen key, a capo and a set of feeler gauges and learn how to set the neck relief!

I wouldn't be happy with that setup...
Take it to a pro, or

DIY:
Start with measuring: trem plate height, action, relief, nut slots... (If you don't know how, ask.)

Then, read the Strat Setup Guide, trying to understand how the whole system works - I mean, like string tension affects to trem plate height to action to relief...

When you get the hang of it, change something (making notes on what you do).
If the neck is too straight, loosen the truss rod a half turn. If the relief is OK, raise the bridge saddles a tad. See what happens, go back to (or towards) the starting point if you want to. Eventually, you get confident enough to go through the whole setup

I agree with Gilga Frank, the place to start is checking neck relief. I've been setting up my own guitars for years now and when this kind of problem occurs that's the first thing I check. If you determine that the neck relief is correct and the problem still exists, then check string height and adjust if needed. Once you determine that these things are correct and the problem still exists you might find a high fret and need professional help to correct that. Anyway, setup is a pretty simple process and worth taking time to learn.
