I saw a lot of video from my friend about it. Hell, it hurts me.....
Is it because he loves Jimi Hendrix very much?

Typically the Strats he would destroy are cheaper Strats or Strat-type guitars. And yes, he claims to be a big fan Hendrix and Blackmore both of whom have taken occasional opportunity to destroy a Strat on stage.

Nah, he's just a nit wit with money to burn. He impresses me about as much as the Great Kat. Remember, you can say a million things with one note or one thing with a million notes.

Funny how this reminds me of the book brave new world where they talk about consuming..... throw away the old and buy new in order to provide a demand for industry. I guess it helps keep fender producing new guitars so someone can have a job. Anyway it's Friday I guess I have too much time on my hands

Dig that!!! Smashing instruments that I would work for months or even years to save for and then see some $@! smash it to smithers just doesn't make any sense.

It was called "Performance Art" way back. The Who, Hendrix, and a few others did it out of frustration or to express themselves.
The new crop of $@! Clowns just do it because they think it's cool.
It's like a copy cat crime
