hello and thak you por accpeting me in this forum i have a fender stratocaster with a david glimour emgs pickups and i want to install a Ghost acousti phonic preamp kit, and i want to know if that its possible???

i also notice that that kit has a pot for volume control and a toggle for turning on and off the acoustic sound, if it is possible to instal this kit where can i put the volume pot??

if someboy can help me or explain me, how i can do what i mentiond?

The usual way of installing is to change one tone control to be an overall tone for all pickups then have the second tone control as the acoustic volume. If you don't want to drill a hole in the pickguard then you could fit a push-pull volume know or even something like an S1 switch to engage the acoustic sound but be aware that these would be simple A/B switches. The supplied toggle will probably be a three-way electric/acoustic/both selector.

Graph Tech have a lot of very good instruction videos on their website showing the install procedure for the piezo saddles and preamp. The internal wiring can get a little cramped but you should be able to install it an a normal Strat body without removing any wood.

Also remember to buy the correct bridge saddles, they make straight screw and offset screw types.

I couldn't quote you chapter and verse from the Fender catalog but I think at least one of my Strats has the offset type.

thanks so much GilgaFrank for your advice its vey easy to understand how to do it, i apollogize for taking so long to get back to this post but because an autoinmunne deasese that i have i went to the hospital and got sick but now im recovering and hope get to work in one week!

if i could ask you before anything can you explain me why the strat has to tone know and you use them, i put them alway in five but i cant notice the diference i move the level of tone

again thanks for your adive, i will search for a wiring driagram for this job, meanwhile i start to save money to buy it.
