Everything looks as it should. MIM Standard from 2010. Nice color too!

Ah. Guitar Dater Project says 2001-2002 for that serial number. Is that wrong? I don't claim to know anything about MIM serial numbers.

Anyway. I agree. Can never be certain from photos, but far as can be seen it seems kosher. And in nice condition for a four year old guitar. Even nicer condition for a 12-13 year old guitar.

Cheers - C

No, I think that T2Stratman just transposed two digits, turning a "2001" into a "2010"; it would be a 2001-2002 MIM Standard.

Yep...2001...sucks getting old...the typing skills are not what they used to be!
Still a darn nice guitar especially for it's age.

Ah, right. My fingers hit the wrong keys all the time too. Add to that this stupid iPad thinking it knows what I'm writing better than I do (it's always wrong), and it's a wonder I ever produce a legible sentence.

Mind you, it wouldn't have been the first time the Guitar Dater Project had got something wrong, so I wanted to check.

Cheers guys - C

iPads can be plain dangerous. It took liberties, and I mean after I was a long ways down the sentence, and thought it knew better than I and the end result was someone getting really upset!

Autocorrect is a wonderful thing.

Hey, that's not what I typed.

Yes it is. Hey, stop that.
