New Deluxe Lone Stars are Mexican.
There used to be a MIA Lone Star, available in the late 1990's.

The newer MIM Lonestars are featured with a large headstock and S1 switch.

This guitar was an American Strat with two Texas Special single coils in the neck & middle position and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Plus humbucking bridge pickup; it came with an aged white pearloid or brown tortoiseshell pickguard.

Changed to American Fat Strat Texas Specials in 2000 and discontinued three years later.

I had a MIA Lonestar - another one that got away. The Pearly Gates on that gitbox was great for pinch harmonics.
