Strat use linear pots ( audio ) , all/ full volume you hear ear is before 10 .

8 or less ? More volume= more noise on single coil

Pretty sure you will have the wrong value pots. Can you let us know what you have please.

Shaky

Why do you think that ? I can't see why a noise just between 6 to 8 is from a wrong pot value.

The only thing I can see about the pot , it as a defective spot between 6 to 8 , dirty or something like that .
With that , the pickups/ guitar wiring did not see a ground through the pots and act like antenna .

Just an experience that I had on a build. The wrong (mixed) value pots generated a tone all of its own!

Do we know the values of the pots?

A build or mod can have many bad thing generated tone . You can replace the pot ang move something else and no bad tone ; it may not be the pot ....

Sure I get what you are saying... but then again it could be the wrong value pot couldn't it

It sounds like the capacitor is burned out or not sodered correctly. When intalling the capacitors on my Strats I use aligator clips as a heat sink to prevent over heating the caps.

These faults can be tricky to solve without being there with multi meter etc.
They are generally resolved by measurement and a process of elimination.
The first question is did the problem exist before you made the changes and is it just that now you have a quieter pickup in the bridge that you have noticed it in the other positions. If not then it is something you have done!
I have come across a similar problem and on spec replaced the vol but this did not fix it.
Replacing the switch seemed to sort the issue which is strange thinking about the physics behind it.
Of course this may not be the solution in your case but check the switch contacts and make sure they are not worn and make a good connection.
Hope this helps in some small way :D
