Hello strat lovers,

My polka dot mexican buddy guy is having a whammy bar problem. It rocks back in fourth in the hole. My tech said to remove 2 springs from the back, and then give it a try. Still not much vibrato if any. Also my high e, b, and g string tuners are very stiff. This guitar has Fender gotoh tuners, anyone with help please:)

See www.callaham.com and just for your info see also www.guitarnuts.com.
You may need to lube the string nut and lossen the screw (if you have one) just a little on the tuner knob; this controls the tension on the screw; you don't want it to turn too easily but easily enough so it's comfortable.

hey man, make sure your trem arm isnt bent , mine was. at first look it doesnt seem that way, but look closer, the bend occurs at the weakest point (right above the swing threads just before the arm becomes a solit rod.

Oh I thought from the header you had a problem with Buddy Guy...my mistake....although I'm pretty sure he stole a doughnut from me once so if you are seeking vengence get a little for me.

It sounds like the thread in your trem block for the trem arm or the thread on the trem arm is stripped.

A replacement trem block/trem arm/ both should fix your problem (if that's what it is).

The Polka Dot is MIM. The others are MIA. They are different in materials, electronics, and finish. (see Products).

If you want the real deal, as close as you will get will be the MIA in a polka dot finish done by the Custom Shop.

However, if you examine Buddy's stage guitar closely you will note that the polka dot pattern is much denser, and the pot knobs are white, not black.
