When I saw Deep Purple in '74, Ritchie Blackmore was playing a natural finish, white pick guard with a maple fretboard. I have loved this color combo ever since. I also dig the large '70's headstock and bold logo!

Been wondering where and how you've been and what post might bring you out of the ether once again.
I'm sure there are some newcomers out there who have not seen these yet.

Doc.

My fave is the arctic white with maple fretboard. However, the sunburst is a very nice color also. But so is the black with maple fretboard . . . or the wine/maple . . .

I'm a sucker for unusual colors:

Top 3
ANY of the Fender BLUES. Electron and Cobalt transparant are my favorites.

Antigua. period.

and finally, Midnight wine

I have to say i am not a fan of sunburst. Chrome red maple neck would be my pick. I have an Electron blue maple now, it just flat played 10 times better that the other 15 I played. It is a looker, but chrome red, tinted maple neck.........Very nice!!

Hi guys. My Strat is a '08 sienna sunburst strat with rosewood fingerboard and i really love her most, but i would also love a strat in any of the possible colour combinations. Guys we simply own the best looking guitar all over the universe.I spent only one second for choosing to buy a fender stratocaster but about 8 months to pick the sienna sunburst ! No really , all of them are lovely. Greetings from Greece to everybody.

My first Strat was a 91 Olympic white with a 3 layer pickguard W/B/W that I replaced with a reddish tortoise shell, and it had a maple neck. It was the only USA strat that I could afford. It was stolen about a year and a half ago. *moment of silence*

I have always wanted a black bodied, rose wood fretboard with large headstock. I've seen them but they would've broken the bank (my bank at least).

Hello '06 Highway 1 strat! Black nitrocelluose finish which has a great satin look to it! Rosewood fretboard, large headstock, and 3 layer w/b/w pickguard. To top it all off my bank is still in tact.

the best lookin' strat i've ever come across was this beat to s**t sea foam green painted over three tone sunburst that my uncle had barrowed from a friend when i went to visit him in vegas. and i know what your thinkin' "why in the world would you paint OVER sunburst?" but i tell you the bits of burst showin' throught the worn off green was the sexiest thing i'd ever seen this side a faded natural finish tele. it had rosewood and tons of neck wear but played like butter. not just any butter but grandma's home cookin' butter. the day before i left to go back home i told my uncle to offer the guy $200 ish bucks for it (pretty much all the money i had leftin my bank account from the trip) but he wouldn't sell. i don't think i would have either.

White to the right.

Pure beauty in a very tasteful and simplistic way.
