Only the neck. I believe that the Blacktops came in black, blue, red, and none were ash. The body looks just like a Lite Ash Strat.

Hello Guys

I've just joined the community, I'm gonna post in the presentation section, but I wanted to give you my 0.02.

Don't forget that Fender do A LOT of FSR (Fender Special Run) : they make a serie of guitars according to a vendor demand.

For example, I've bought last april a MiM with 22 frets, large '70s headstock, TexMex pups, gigbag deluxe, isolated cavities (aluminium tape and isolated black painting) and medium frets (not medium jumbo).

Here it is :

Of course it is always tricky to buy a used Fender since only the neck has a serial and way of ID it. But, it is not because you don't know a given model that it makes it a fake....or does not exist.

Here is the link where I"ve bought my 22 frets MIM guitar, I think it's a bargain, it sound really great, low action, no fret buzz, for my first Fender I'm impressed ! 22 frets and large headstock are kinda cool.

This FSR Standard was commissioned by Thomann to celebrate their 60th anniversary. This model is also offered in black and olympic white.

That flip flop purple FSR is the only SSS Deluxe to sport an LSR roller nut.
