Push-push button died on my '97 so I replaced it with a 2014 pickguard that had the noiseless vintage pickups. Took a couple months before I wanted regular old humming singlecoils back in there. Put the original Super Fats back in on a new white pickguard and the bottom tone pot wired to blend the non-selected bridge or neck pickups instead of the on/off button... and it kicks $@!. CTS pots, switchcraft jack, .047µF Orange Drop . Finally worthy of the term "Deluxe."
