How many of those 2-tone red black burst beauties will be made?

So the HSS Am Dlx no longer has the LSR nut? What about the S1 circuit? Is the neck profile still compound radius?
Nice color. Are you buying one?

I didn't notice in the title that this was an FSR. I guess that explains some things.

Not all come with bent saddles, there are also examples (such as the pictured guitar) fitted with a pop-in block-saddled bridge. I've seen a bent-saddled one on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FENDER-AMERICAN ... 1245430714

This guitar was already sold.

@arjay I've no plans to buy one, too pricey

Translation: I'm as poor as a church mouse and cannot afford to play with the big boys who wear long trousers but I'll continue to posit myself as an "egg-spurt" on all things Fender though I've never owned a single piece of that company's gear.

It's an mash-up of American Standard and American Deluxe features - it has the compound radius, locking tuners, contoured neck heel and chrome logo from the American Deluxes but it also has the bent-saddle bridge and the pickups from the American Standard HSS. Plus it's a special color for this model.

Chromeface has a wealth of info that he readily shares, sometimes more than necessary. But, I don't care what gear he owns personally.

Plagiarized cut-and-pastes from Tiger Beat magazine and Frontline catalogs I can find anywhere.

To me it seems the photo isn't doing this guitar justice. Like I'm thinking this would look a little similar to the firestorm finish- obviously without the visual effect.

It would be interesting to see this in person. I bet it would look different.

I agree. Usually first to chime in with interesting photos or whatnot. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't learnt something from him.
