Is the trem claw a genuine Fender part?

Can you post a pic of the entire kit?

Looks broken, but I was thinking maybe not because it's not a cheap part, how could they miss that?

Someone at Fender went home thinking they'd done a good day's work that day!

Return it from whence it came as defective, please send another.
And if you can contact the seller send them a copy of the photos, so they can check it at their end first.

Just beggars belief ......

It's amazon, so exchange will be no issue. It really just made me think for a second it was intentional since I didn't expect such a goof from fender.

But it is the cheapest part in the set. I actually have an old claw in the guitar (a tokai) so I really don't need to use it (I don't think claws have any tonal impact).

If any of you have a fender email, that would be good to show them, I couldn't find any for this kind of problem on the main site.

Was the broken-off tab in the box with the rest of the parts?

It's definitely a defect.

No loose part, and it's not rough or anything. My guess is it broke when bent, and then it got buffed.
