Hi guys, forgive me my poor language but I'm from Belgium and I'm trying as hard as I can to spell correct Englisch. I'm new here so I'M not sure if this is the wright way to become an answer to my question. The story is that I've bought a Mexican Strat on ebay, brought it to a luthier to do some modifications and he told me that he wasn't sure that it was a genuine Fender, I've got the serial number but I don't know where to check if the number is really from my strat?

Oh yes, it's a Mexican Strat, I like it very much but the only problem is that the fretboard is so straight that the strings rattle if you know what I mean, because I don't know how to translate it. I brought it to the luthier to make the neck a little bit hollow but he couldn't do it, He turned the pen aseveral times but the neck didn't move. I've send an e-mail to the consumer relations and hope to haven an answer soon. Thank you very much.

Your truss rod might be broken... your luthier should be able to tell you.
Good luck.
