This is my brand new American Special Strat in Surf Green. The neck feels great, and I love the color, but this time I'm not very impressed with sound of the Texas Specials. I'm considering a set of Lace Sensors. Either the Rainbow Set (Emerald, Silver, and Purple) or Hot Golds. I have the Hot Golds in my other American Special Strat that I will post a few pics of after I write all this crap. I'm going to replace the saddles with GraphTech (which I have on my other Strat as well) and add 2 more springs for more tension on the bridge. I don't use the trem ever.

Congrats on the new Strat, it is a beautiful guitar. One note though, it seems you already have one with lace sensors, graph tech saddles, etc, why not leave the TS pickups in for something a bit different. Just a thought, enjoy it whatever you do with it.

Congrats and love your new Strat! I have an 04' American Fat Strat Texas Special with an HB in the bridge position. Mine has a color very similar to yours called surf pearl and it has a very fine sparkle to it. I had Bishop do the frets and now it plays like butta!

Nice Guitar... Congrats. 8)

Strikes me a little odd that one would want two of the same guitar, albeit in different colors. :?

To each his own to be sure, but personally, I want to cover as much of the Spectrum as I can... we're in the Age of Diversity !

cheers!
